Waste Value Chain Tour Lagos State, the second largest metropolitan city in Africa boasts of a population of over 20 million people. With the UN estimated 0.7kg of solid waste produced per human daily, 14 million kg (14,000 tonnes) of waste (biodegradable and non-biodegradable) is churned out daily on average in Lagos State.
